I painted this self portrait using a mirror in my garage on August 27, 2007. I am wearing my floppy sunhat and orange T-shirt. I wear orange whenever I paint outdoors in case I stop near the side of the road to take a picture or to paint.  In the painting you can see my easel and back of my canvas as it was reflected in the mirror.
These three Self Portraits were painted in the fall of 2006 as ''assignments'' in Tim Ford's Painting 1 Class at Appalachian State. I ''sat-in'' on the class with my mom. They are all 16 x 20 inches, Acrylic on Canvas. I painted them  in the ASU Studio using a mirror. Looking at them about a year later, makes me want to paint more self portraits.
